Backwoods Dog Waterproof BioThane Step-In Dog Harness

The Backwoods Dog step-in harness offers easy on and off function with a quick-release closure. There are three points of adjustment at the chest and either side and two points of attachment to suit every walking style—one at the chest, and one at the shoulders.

Handmade from authentic Beta 520 Standard BioThane, our harness has the look and feel of leather without the maintenance. Stink-proof, waterproof, washable, and soft to the touch. Highly durable and maintains flexibility even in extremely cold weather. It will outlast other materials, available in a rainbow of bright and earthy colours, and it's vegan!

Sizing

Collars:

To ensure an accurate fit, please snuggly measure the circumference of your dog's neck where you want the collar to sit. Ideally, the size should be close to the middle measurement of our collars, if your dog is within one inch of the collar size, size down or up accordingly. All our sizes are measured in inches (").

Harnesses:

To ensure an accurate fit, please snuggly measure the circumference of your dog's neck and chest. Our harnesses are ideal for medium to large size dogs. Our harness sizes are based on chest size.

Care Instructions

BioThane is extremely easy to care for. Simply wipe away dirt with a cloth or wash with soap and water. To disinfect, dab with a small amount of rubbing alcohol. Keep away from extreme heat or fire. Do not use bug repellent on product. Avoid harsh cleaners and chemicals as this can cause breakdown of the material and hardware.

BioThane is a polyester webbing with a PVC coating that makes it more durable, waterproof, easy to clean, and is made in the U.S.A.
